Beschreibung

We refine our body movements to dance confidently in freestyle Salsa Cubana. We focus on isolation, musical understanding, and movement technique while exploring other Cuban dances. Please come dressed in sportswear and bring water to drink.

Leonor and Ilya are great teachers and very knowledgeable of Cuban dances. Taking this course with them was a lot of fun. I hope they keep offering more courses like this in the future!

Absolutely amazing class! Both teachers think a lot about their teaching and are at the same time experts in Salsa. Highly recommed.

Very interesting course. The title "beyond Salsa" captures it well. You get introduced to other Cuban dance forms that you can integrate into your Salsa dancing.

Leonor and Ilya teach an excellent course. The transition from Salsa 2 to Salsa 3 is certainly not an easy one and the learning curve can be steep at times. However, Leonor and Ilya make it a piece of cake. They are always happy and eager to check your style, explain steps, or give tips to improve your musicality. I can't wait for Salsa 4!

Leonor Kotoun & Ilya Vasilenko are very dedicated teachers and good dancers. They organise the Salsa class in a very varied way and attach great importance to developing a good sense of rhythm.

Leonor is an amazing dancer but also an amazing teacher! She has a huge knowledge of Cuban culture and dances, and always came to class super prepared. The lessons were very structured but also a lot of fun! Would love to take more workshops like this with her :)

The true culmination of Salsa courses. Ilya and Leonor are amazing teachers: They know (and feel) their stuff and they are always fun yet concentrated. The pace is demanding but doable.

Ilya and Leonor are great teachers with a keen focus on musicality. At the same time, their course is lighthearted and very enjoyable. Definitely recommended!

Leonor and Ilya were phenomenal teachers, infusing the class with boundless energy. Their clear explanations of body movements and Cuban motion made the figures a breeze to follow. Rueda de Casino was a blast! Can't wait to dance with them again!
