Zeit!In good weather in the Artergut Park, in rain in the Raum der Stille (Campus Hönggerberg)! The place will be communicated in the morning of 26.05.
In this workshop we will teach you basic acrobatic lifts and tricks. We will show you how to build them in your existing dance style.
A specific focus will be given to building into salsa and bachata. A simple choreography of the moves will also be made so that they can be danced in a contemporary style to be used on their own.
Working with inspiring music we guide you step by step in elements in order to bring your dancing into the sky.
You will learn specific technics, combinations and tricks, experiment with static and dynamic, giving up or holding up weight.
This workshop is planned as a first set of workshops for acrobatic dancing. There will be a focus on the basics and goal of progressing.
In the case of nice weather we will have the pleasure of working in a park without to much people and with shade (Artergut Park) In case of rain the workshop will take place at the Hönggerberg Campus.
This workshop targets:
- Dancers with basic skills
- Dancers would like to take their movements into the air

Teachers:
Debora Steinegger runs her own school Lufttanz Akrobatik, where she teaches partner acrobatics,
aerial silks, and yoga. She founded the hip hop dance group UNI-T, and is an avid salsa dancer.
Christopher McLaren teaches salsa at tanzquotient and is experienced in partner acrobatic. He
combines his two passions into Acrobatic dancing
Together they perform and give workshops as Acrorhythms.
