TimeCeilidh is a traditional Scottish dancing party, very popular among schools, universities and local communities. Bigger events have live music played by local bands playing on an accordion, flute, violin and, of course, bagpipes. Participans usually dance a set of 6-10 dances, such as "Gay Gordons", "Dashing White Sergeant", "Flying Scotsman" or "Strip the Willow". TQ invites you for a Ceilidh Workshop on 20th July 2022 at 20:30. No prior knowledge is needed as every ceilidh has a "caller" - a person explaining the instruction to the dancers. Our caller for the night will be Jan Rybojad - ETH Masters Student in Economics who did his Bachelor study in Scotland. Please bring light clothes, comfortable dancing shoes, lots of energy and a bottle of water.
