Description

You have done salsa 1-4 (or at least one year of salsa dance experience) and want to continue dancing? No problem! Salsa 5 continues with awesome new patterns and a lot of Rueda de Casino. In addition to the salsa rhythms, we will deal with Afro-Cuban rumba. Rumba is part of many Cuban salsa songs. The goal is for you to recognize them and be able to react to them correctly.

You already have at least 1 year of Salsa experience, like to explore Zürich's Salsa clubs and wish to expand your repertoire with some cool figures and ladystyle? You have heard of Rumba and Son and would like to learn some? Then see you in Salsa 5!

I loved the course and the instructors. We learned some really fun figures that were also pretty high complexity and looked really cool :)

Leonor Kotoun & Ilya Vasilenko are very dedicated teachers and good dancers. They organise the Salsa class in a very varied way and attach great importance to developing a good sense of rhythm.

Lena and Robin are amazing teachers: competent, helpful and fun as well. Salsa 5 figures built upon moves from previous classes and are really enjoyable to dance once mastered. Can't wait for Salsa 6!

Very interesting course. The title "beyond Salsa" captures it well. You get introduced to other Cuban dance forms that you can integrate into your Salsa dancing.

Leonor and Ilya teach an excellent course. The transition from Salsa 2 to Salsa 3 is certainly not an easy one and the learning curve can be steep at times. However, Leonor and Ilya make it a piece of cake. They are always happy and eager to check your style, explain steps, or give tips to improve your musicality. I can't wait for Salsa 4!

Very useful if you want to learn more pasitos and choreo parts to implement into your dance. It was fun and insightful to also take some time to focus on isolations and details that do not get enough attention during the regular classes.

The true culmination of Salsa courses. Ilya and Leonor are amazing teachers: They know (and feel) their stuff and they are always fun yet concentrated. The pace is demanding but doable.

Lena and Robin are fantastic teachers, they make dancing salsa fun! The ambience in the class was very relaxed while a lot of cool new figures were introduced and the progress was fairly fast paced. Bonus points for the personalized feedback and tips.
