ATTENTION! This is Zouk 1+, the 2nd part of our beginner course and meant for those, who already participated in our Zouk class(es) in the 1st Quartal (26.09-07.11.) or earlier.

ZOUK is a thrilling, modern couple dance and catches the eye with its flow, dynamics and bodywork. Besides our focus on necessary technique and precision, we see the magic in the broad variety of music styles you can dance Zouk to as well as in the numerous ways you can use body movements to catch a song. In this class you will take your first Zouk steps, be introduced to the basic concepts of timing&connection and you will work out a simple element to live your playfulness on music within the basic steps.

IMPORTANT! Please bring Indoor-danceshoes or socks with you. It is not allowed to use streetshoes in the studio!

Brazilian Zouk and Lambada are two closely related Brazilian couple dances that are known for their flowing movements, musical variety and creative interpretation. In our course you will learn the structure of both dances right from the start. Lambada, with its clear and rhythmic basis, forms an ideal foundation for understanding and implementing Zouk techniques more quickly. Our teaching approach combines precise technique with musicality and a conscious understanding of movement. Whether you are completely new to couple dancing or have already danced Salsa, Bachata or Standard - in our course you will find an exciting introduction to this fascinating dance world.
