In this lesson, we will focus on additional basic Tango figures, such as the progressive side step and variations of the progressive side step reverse turn. Let's dance some Tango!
In this training, we revisit the dances from the Ballroom courses focusing on how to dance them more nicely in terms of look, feel, and musicality. The training will help you on your way towards looking like a pro on the dance floor :-). You will learn to dance the known basic figures effortlessly and discover body movements that create the typical character of the dances, which will facilitate learning more complex figures in the future. The training also covers the topic of lead and follow to create a smooth experience within the couple so that both partners can enjoy the dance.
We recommend this course to everyone who has been dancing for up to 1.5 years, i.e. if you are taking Ballroom 1 to 6 at the moment. If you already have more experience, consider checking out our Ballroom Training for Standard or Latin.
For attending, we expect you to know the basics of the dances of the evening (see at the top). If you did Ballroom 1, you can safely join for Waltz, Cha Cha, Jive, and Discofox. With Ballroom 2, you can also join for Rumba and Tango. If you did Ballroom 3 or higher you can join for everything.
