TimeBachata is a style of social dance from the Dominican Republic, which evolved alongside the namesake music genre (popular artists include Raulin Rodriguez, Dani J, Acentura, and many others). Bachata is a latin partner dance descended from Bolero and with a strong influence from other dances such as Salsa, Cha-cha or Zouk.
A few different style variations exist today, the one that will be taught in this class will be 'Bachata Fusion', wich is the most common style danced in social events throughout Europe.
In bachata 1, we will learn the basic steps, positions and spins that will allow you to clearly communicate fundamental figures to your partner on the dance floor. We hope to teach you the elements that will build your confidence and improve your connection to your partner.
