Rock'n'Roll Basiskurs / Anfängerkurs

Kursbegin: 28.02.18 um 18.00

Jeweils jeden Mittwoch Abend um 18.00-19.15 im Y25-H-38 am Campus Irchel

Im Rock'n'Roll 1 werden wir den Jive Grundschritt, sowie Figuren anschauen und darauf aufbauend übergehen zum gekickten Rock'n'Roll. Es sind keine Vorkentnisse nötig und wir werden das Tempo individuell anpassen.

 

Ich bitte euch bequeme, saubere Turnschuhe mitzunehmen.

Es empfiehlt sich Trainerhosen, Tshirt sowie ein Tuch und eine Wasserflasche mitzunehmen, denn ihr werded ins schwitzen kommen :)

In this energetic and fun course, you will learn the basic Rock'n'Roll steps, explore kick variations, and master couple dance figures. We’ll also introduce you to light and basic acrobatics suitable for beginners. Perfect for anyone who wants to dance with rhythm, style, and a touch of retro flair. No previous experience required .

Wer jetzt einen Social Dance erwartet, wird wohl eher entäuscht sein ABER der Tanz und seine Akros (die man auch anderswo einbauen kann) sind absolut zu empfehlen. Und was Freundlichkeit, Hilfsbereitschaft und Kompetenz der Teachers Claudia und Stefan betrifft, kann man es fast nicht besser machen!

Over the course of 6 weeks, we were taught numerous different figures, including a few acrobatic exercises. While initially rather challenging to memorise between weeks, things started coming together in the second half of the course, as we strengthened our knowledge and general understanding, which enabled us to move quite freely between figures. Through the combination of constant kicks and acrobatic forms, the course is likely more exhausting than many of the others, but definitely a lot of fun. Claudia and Stefan have many year of experience and did an excellent job teaching us the fundamentals of Rock'n'Roll. :)

Very fun course with a fast progression and a lot of content. We learnt many acrobatic figures already, which often involved getting very close to your partner, so sign up with someone you feel comfortable with if possible!
