TimeThe Cuban style dances known today—above all Rumba, Cha-Cha-Cha, and Salsa—are closely related to the Son; you could consider them as its greatgrandson. This affinity with the Son leads to the European counting of Rumba and Cha-Cha-Cha and influenced the interpretation of Cuban style dancing in many ways. Together, we discover the rhythm with its core, the Son Clave, the effects on and connections with Bolero, Chá-Chá-Chá, and Salsa, and discover some figures in Son style dancing.
Basic knowledge of Cha-Cha-Cha and Rumba (European style is sufficient) and/or Salsa is required.
