It was a bit challenging to learn/build confidence this time because sometimes there weren't enough followers present and the romantic couples didn't want to rotate in general - I guess this can't be helped, you just have to get lucky either with the mix of participants or in the dating game. Other than that the course was great and the teachers really did a good job.

Switch between dances was too fast before some managed to understand the previous figure. This is not helped by the fact that no videos of the figures were sent to the chat after the lessonz like most TQ courses do. There are like 4-6 different dances and many figures, which is not helped by not so clear communication and rushed explanations.

It was some times hard to understand the teachers. New figures could have been introduced slower. Most of the times some movements/leader tricks were only discussed after some were struggeling with it. The room with pillars was unfortunate and too many people for the dances in a circle. The Teachers tried always the best to explain the movement when problems appeared.

I think the figures that are taught should have been spread out over the semester some more. It felt like the first few weeks were quite light and then the latter few weeks went quite a bit faster. The end result is that people ended up being a bit confused during the second half of the course

I can understand that the teachers want to encourage the change of partners, but in the class last week I felt a bit pressurised to change partner although I don't want to change partner because I feel uncomfortable being so close to other people. Especially because I got COVID last year from the social dance course where we did a lot of partner change, so this time I want to reduce the risk of getting COVID by sticking to the same partner since COVID cases are massively increasing at the moment.

The amount of people made it difficult to practice the dances where you had to go around the room. Teachers cool and helpful, they work great together

It was sometimes confusing that Andrea interrupted what Daniel was saying to say opposite things. Also, for the explanation of steps/figures when we're all doing it together, I think it would be better not to stop at each step for a few minutes of explanation because we lose the rhythm and the overall view on what we're doing. Otherwise it was a great course, with very enthusiastic and nice teachers, thank you Daniel and Andrea !

nice location & sympathetic teachers. sometimes explanations were hard to understand acoustically and technically. Explanations were always given by and for the leader - I would have appreciated getting explained more often also the follower part.

One lessen had barely new information. (Repetition of Quickstep from last lesson, then one Quickstep figure (Lockstep). Then it was repetition of the english walz from Social 1.) In this lessen i found there was also lengthy, repetitive verbal explanation of very trivial things (10 min of - you go down into the knees when doing the slow movement) and only giving little time for practice. I see that some struggle with the social 1 steps but without training outside of the course it would take a long time to learn in class. (I feel its like a language.) But it was only this lesson where i felt it was slow. Overall great course. I looooooove the videos after the course. They are so helpful when going over the class afterwards.

Suitable flooring in the room would have been nice

When we did fast dances like Wiener Waltz the room size was rather small for the amount of people we had in our course. Also I think some repetition and additional figures would have been nice for all the Social 1 dances (Disco Fox and Jive were missing).

very good teaching, I really liked the course! I hope that there are some courses during the summer so that I won't forget all steps :)
