Description

Prerequisites: We expect you to know the following things! Please contact us if you have doubts about your level.

  • You know basic steps incl. Guapea (open basicstep) and the music rhythm of Salsa Cubana (1-2-3,5-6-7)
  • You can start dancing on 1 or 5 to the music
  • You hear the Salsa rhythm (incl. knowing where is 1 and where is 5) and you know how to start dancing in the middle of the song on your own.
  • You can dance several patterns staying in the rhythm of the music
  • You can connect at least 2-3 patterns without a basic in the middle
  • For men: you can dance the right turn (enrroscate)
  • You know the following patterns
    • Dile que si
    • Dile que no
    • Enchufa
    • Setenta
    • Sombrero
    • Bacilala

Would be nice to also look into for example salsa on2, also it would be cool to „learn“ more to focus on the music and the pattern instead of just learning figures by heart

Wenn man einen Kurs bei Reto und Robin besucht, weiss man, dass man nicht enttäuscht wird :)

I really enjoyed the salsa courses 1 - 4. Especially because Robin and Ilya are great teachers and we had a lot of fun. It would be great if there was also salsa 5 class, since I know that many people of my class would be interested.

- the organization of events outside the course (e.g. Bürkliplatz dancing) is super cool!

really loved the smaller group which allowed a bit more attention to individuals, also loved the bachata intermission

I enjoy the positivity spread and that both teachers were giving instructions&tips. Especially big props to Robin because in my other dance courses so far only the man would really do the teaching&explaining while the women would just dance. In this course both instructors were teaching us which was certainly very helpful for the women. Is there a way to continue dancing salsa, e.g. a salsa5? Or I would be generally interested in how to continue the journey we started? Thank you for the amazing year!

I really like the course, it was super fun ! The only problem was that the room was too warm

Ich habe den Kurs extrem genossen und mich jede Woxhe darauf gefreut. Ich habe extrem viel gelernt und hatte viel Spass dabei. Würde es jedem weiterempfehlen!
