Description

Salsa Cubana has it all: singing melodies, moving rhythms, and a rich history and culture reflected in the yarning lyrics. With some exercising you will learn playful, spinning, and complex knotted figures. These mastered, enjoy the Cuban way of dancing as a couple or show off with your friends in a neatly synchronized Rueda de Casino. And that isn’t it, Salsa Cubana prepares you for numerous other Latin American dances like Son Cubano, Merengue, Bolero, and many more!

In the first course level, you will be introduced to the basic steps and the rhythm of Salsa Cubana. As a couple, you will learn to move in open and closed positions - either as a leader or a follower. We will also show you how to switch elegantly between the basic steps. You will learn the first turns and finally have an introduction to Rueda de Casino.

Super Lehrer! Gute Stimmung im Kurs. Es schwierig bei der Anzahl an Leuten im Kurs, aber stellenweise wäre es schön gewesen, wenn die Lehrer öfter vorbeikommen um zu korrigieren oder, falls alles richtig ist, Varianten zu geben, oder auch nur zu sagen, dass es so gut ist.

The room was not suitable both in terms of temperature and the setting. The teachers tried their best to make the room suitable for dancing but a different room with more ventilation and less cables would be better.

Robin and Reto created a pleasant atmosphere and taught the figures properly. I liked that they shared videos for the new figures. The room could have been better, as cables were lying on the ground (at least they were well fixed).

Maybe we were changing partners a bit too often and too fast sometimes, but in general it was really nice course

Mir hat der Kurs sehr gut gefallen. Der einzige Kritikpunkt wäre: Man hat einen Unterschied vom Tanzniveau bemerkt bei der Leiterin im Vergleich zum Leiter bzw. im Vergleich zu anderen Leiterinnen (Ersatz). Grundsätzlich ist das überhaupt kein Problem, aber es wäre schön, wenn man z.B. mehr über Lady Styling lernen würde bzw. was man beispielsweise mit den Armen für "Verzierungen" machen kann. Und ich denke, da hat die "fehlende" Erfahrung der Leiterin eine Rolle gespielt.

Der Kurs war super! Ich bekam aber den Eindruck, dass er nicht von einem Team geleitet wurde, sondern quasi von Reto allein. Nichts gegen ihn, er konnte ja auch die Follower-Schritte relativ gut erklären, aber ich hätte es angenehmer gefunden, wenn das Mann-Frau-Gefälle nicht so spürbar gewesen wäre.

manche Figuren lernten wir individuell und ich denke es wäre manchmal fast einfacher direkt mit dem Partner etwas zu erlernen weil wenn man geführt wird die Schritte natürlicher sind

Es hat super Spass gemacht und ich fand die Mischung aus Passitos und Partnertanz sehr gelungen. Ich hab extrem viel lernen können, tw. mehr als damals in der Tanzschule. Freue mich schon auf den zweiten Kurs! Danke!!!

Maybe, it would be helpful if the room had mirrors, so we could see ourselves while dancing. Other than that, it was great!
