Description

During the social courses, we will teach you the basics of ballroom dancing. Ballroom dances are partner dances that are mainly popular in Europe and consist of two categories: Standard and Latin.

What you are going to learn

You are going to learn two new dances: Rumba and English Tango. Additionally, new figures for all four dances from Social 1 (Discofox, Cha Cha, Jive & English Waltz) will be introduced.

English Waltz

• The Basic Pattern (I.e. natural turn, closed changed, reverse turn, closed change)

Cha Cha

• Closed Basic
• New York
• Underarm Turn
• Spot Turns

Jive

• Basic in Place
• Change of Places Right to Left
• Change of Places Left to Right
• Fallaway Rock

Discofox

• Basic in Place
• Change of Places Right to Left
• Change of Places Left to Right
