A partner dance that can be danced to music styles ranging from swing to modern pop or even hip hop, with a wide range of tempi, in a lively mood or a relaxed summer chillout mood, danceable in open hold or perfect ballroom hold or anything in between, with a figure repertoire ranging from your favorite discofox combination to elegant line figures (poses). If you think that it is impossible to have all this in a single dance, then you do not know the Social Foxtrot yet (not to be confused with the Slow Foxtrot), and you should definitely join this workshop.

After introducing the typical rhythm and basic movements of the foxtrot, the workshop will focus on discovering the large variety of movements and styles that are possible in this versatile dance. If you have experience in other dances, you will have a lot of fun with experimenting on incorporating figures you know into this dance. If you do not have experience in other dances, the Social Foxtrot is an ideal starting point for learning social partner dancing.
