Description

With people from TQ & DUZ & others, we are in the process of founding Switzerland's first latin formation dance team with the aim of competing at 5 competitions in Germany beginning of next year. It is a bit similar to the TQ show group, but more sporty. The plan is to have intensive training sessions every Sunday evening (18-22h) Who is interested in joining? You do not need to have experience in competitive dancing, but general dance experience (some social courses or more) would be good. Joining the formation team is a chance to learn a lot about latin dancing, and a chance to have a lot of fun by experiencing dancing as a team sport. You can try it out without obligations, but for joining competitions in the end, sufficient commitment for training will of course be needed. The dance course strikes the perfect balance between reviewing figures, improving technique and focusing on the variety that ballroom dancing has to offer. I greatly enjoyed every session of the course & look forward to the next course! Chris is an excellent teacher!

This is a fantastic course, I have learned so much, particularly how figures can be combined, when they can be danced, and how to dance them well. I also really enjoyed the explanations of concepts like swing and different energies of the steps within figures. Chris brings so much positive energy and happiness to his classes, which makes it even more enjoyable to learn and improve. There was also lots of individual feedback and input from the class.
