Description

This course is at an intermediate level.

We will improve our movements to enable us to dance confidently while free dancing in Salsa Cubana. Therefore we work on body isolation and technique, musical understanding and explore Afro-Cuban and popular dances such as Rumba Guaguanco. Please come dressed in sportswear and bring some water to drink.

Leonor is an amazing dancer but also an amazing teacher! She has a huge knowledge of Cuban culture and dances, and always came to class super prepared. The lessons were very structured but also a lot of fun! Would love to take more workshops like this with her :)

Leonor Kotoun & Ilya Vasilenko are very dedicated teachers and good dancers. They organise the Salsa class in a very varied way and attach great importance to developing a good sense of rhythm.

The true culmination of Salsa courses. Ilya and Leonor are amazing teachers: They know (and feel) their stuff and they are always fun yet concentrated. The pace is demanding but doable.

Leonor and Ilya were phenomenal teachers, infusing the class with boundless energy. Their clear explanations of body movements and Cuban motion made the figures a breeze to follow. Rueda de Casino was a blast! Can't wait to dance with them again!
