Description

Im zweiten Kurs werden wir das Verständnis für den Salsa Rhythmus stärken. Wir zeigen euch, wie ihr mit Tanzen beginnt und endet, was nicht so einfach ist, wie es vielleicht klingt. 😉 

Weiter lehren wir euch grundlegende Figuren wie die Setenta und den Sombrero.  


Was ihr bereits können müsst, um in Stufe 2 einzusteigen:

    Enchufla (Linksdrehung für Leaders und Followers)

    Vuelta a la Derecha (Rechtsdrehung für Followers)

    Vacílala

In the second course level we will strengthen the understanding of the Salsa rhythm. We teach you how to start and end dancing, which is not as trivial as it may sound. 😉 

Further, you will learn some new basic figures such as Setenta and Sombrero and improve your Rueda de Casino skills.

To enter Salsa 2, you have to know the following patterns in couple:

  • Guapea (open basic step)

  • Dile que no

  • Enchufla 

  • Enchufla con dile que no

  • Vuelta a la Derecha (Right turn for followers)

  • Vacílala

  • Enchufla para siempre

And additionally the following patterns in Rueda: Dame, Enchufla, Vacílala, Coge fly, Coge línea, Coge rolling, fly pa'rriba, fly pa'bajo, Rojo > Verde

With Salsa Cubana 2 you can finally start to do more long and complex figures, putting together the simpler moves learned in the previous class. By going to the Latino Open Dancing the improvement is quick and fun. I would absolutely recommend taking Salsa 1 before this class to get the basics right, as Salsa basics are complex to master.

It was a lot of fun and a great introduction, also if you have never danced before. Richard is super good at explaining the figures and techniques and Melanie brings a very engaging energy to the course.

Great course, superb energy from both the instructors. They were really helpful and even if sometimes there was alot of new steps in the same class, they went through it and reinforced it great in that and the upcoming classes and were always receptive of any and all questions!

Fabian and Julia are pros in making the salsa class both fun and informative. They're really good at explaining figures step by step, make sure to answer any questions, and their enthusiasm for salsa is contagious. I always looked forward to the ruedas at the end - high energy and fun.

I really like how Fabian and Julia teach their classes. They are so energetic! Rueda with them is a lot of fun and we always learn some new fun figures. I love that the teachers join the round both as leaders and followers to give specific feedback to everyone from their perspective. And I am really glad that they record videos of the new figures. This way I can learn them at home or try them out at open dancing. After the last class we even went to latin open dancing with the group. I would definitively recommend this course.

Fabian and Julia are a great team. The classes are a lot of fun and an absolute safe space. They also like to show some styling and teach some extra figures which are often a lot of fun. I can definitely recommend their classes :).

Fabian & Julia had very clear explanations of the moves, and the course was very fun. There was often an optional rueda at the end of the class, which was a highlight.

Julia and Fabian are great teachers. Their classes are always fun and never boring. They don't shy away from dancing with their students and give feedback. At the end of each class we always did a Rueda and never managed to end on time cause everyone was too busy having fun dancing. We even went to Platzspitz together for a Salsa social after the final session :D

Cuban Salsa 1 is a great introduction to Salsa. Due to the speed and complexity of the dance, it takes a few lectures to really begin dancing, but as soon as you have acquired the basic steps and some turns, the fun begins (around the 3rd lecture I'd say).
