The best way to reach the UZH lower cafeteria is via a rear entrance of the UZH main building. To do this, walk down Künstlergasse toward the Kunsthaus until you reach the fountain with green and yellow water on your left. The building to the right of it, which is built into the ground, is the upper cafeteria. The lower cafeteria is located directly below it. There is a small passageway in the low wall on the left side of the street where you can walk past the upper cafeteria. Then continue straight ahead and at the tables diagonally to the left, you will find a winding staircase that leads to the entrance of the lower cafeteria.
