Description

The goal of this course is to recap the figures you learnt in Ballroom 5 and 6. Did you miss a lesson? Or did you struggle with a specific figure? Then this course is your opportunity to learn or recap them!

To sign up for this course:

  1. You must have already taken Ballroom 5 and 6.

  2. You must name at least one figure that you would like to recap in the Comments field of the sign-up form. You may name more, in decreasing order of preference.

All figures taught in the Ballroom courses are listed in our Course concept

You can also find the names of the figures that you learnt in Ballroom [1, n] in the "Prerequisites" section of Ballroom n+1. E.g., see:

Jan and Jenny did a really good job! They were amazing teachers and their selection of figures was in my opinion really great!

Jenny is for sure one of the best teachers for followers, she is a really good dancer, knows precisely how to execute the steps but also how to do a good exposition and she explains both of it really well. She and Jan are a very good couple for teaching, everything is very clear and they have such positive and motivating vibes. Ballroom 8 was a lot of fun for learning new figures, unfortunately as a follower there is not a lot of opportunities to try these figures for example in open dancing because very few people know how to lead them, so I would recommend signing up as a couple for ballroom >6.

Jennifer and Jan were great, they made the course very fun and were able to adapt the pace really well to the class. Would definitely recommend taking a course with them!

Jan and Jenny are really good teachers! They explain everything super clearly and keep a fun atmosphere.

This was a very interesting course, especially because it focused on dances and figures that are less often covered in the regular ballroom sequence, such as samba, pasodoble, and slowfox. Jan and Jenny selected figures that were challenging but still manageable for the level, and explained them very clearly step by step. I particularly appreciated that technical aspects such as posture and movement quality were also included, not only the figures themselves. There was quite a lot of material, so repetition time was naturally limited, but for an advanced-level course this felt acceptable. The summary videos in the group chat were especially well done, because they included not only the figure itself but also key reminders about timing, posture, and important details.

Jenny and Jan did a splendid job of showing off the figures and teaching them to us! I felt like your selection of figures gave a quite even playing field for everybody and everyone could learn something new. I could really take away so many new things that I will be trying out at the spring ball! 💃🏼🕺

Jenny & Jan did a great job explaining Jive technique and gave a lot of individual feedback. I liked how we had enough time to focus on each individual point rather than having to combine everything quickly. Thanks!

Jenny und Jan sind ein Super-Duo, dem man die gemeinsamen Tanzstunden anmerkt. Sie ergänzen sich gegenseitig super und sind für Ballroom 1 sehr geeignet. Sie sind sehr zugänglich, nehmen die Scheu für Neubeginnende und fordern auch immer wieder auf Fragen zu stellen. Ich würde auf jeden Fall weitere Tanzkurse bei ihnen besuchen.

Oh, open level with Chris and Aisha is one of my favorite courses! They are also giving enough technique. This time we also did some slowfox, and it definitively increased my self confidence in this dance.
