Description

Argentine Tango is a dance based on connection and musicality. In this course, you will learn the Tango posture, walking technique, connection, simple leading and following, and fundamental figures such as salida básica (basic 6- and 8-steps), parada (stop), back ocho, forward ocho, rock step and la cruzada (cross). You will also learn modern tango figures (Tango Nuevo), which better fit electrotango music such as Gotan Project, Bajofondo, and Otros Aires, from level 2. An example of Tango Nuevo is in the link below.

The course was well structured and the teachers very nice. Partner change was welcomed but not forced and we learned a good number of moves and steps. Would definitely recommend.

The teachers gave a lot of individual feedback and I was able to see their joy in dancing Tango Nuevo and interpreting Tango in a new way! I really enjoyed it!

Great class from Kadir and Özlem. They are so nice and patient, really helping you do the moves right. The course was rather small, allowing them to provide a lot of individual feedback.
